Paid in foreign currency? Add each payment

Each receipt converts at the National Bank of Georgia rate for the day it arrived — not today’s rate, and not a monthly average. Amounts stay in your browser; only the date and currency are looked up.

How the 1% actually works

  • The tax is 1% of gross turnover, not of profit. Expenses do not reduce it.
  • Foreign-currency income converts at the National Bank of Georgia rate for the transaction date — not the rate on the day you file.
  • The declaration is due by the 15th of the following month, filed on rs.ge.

Where these numbers come from

Every figure here is a rule we publish openly, with the article of the Tax Code of Georgia it comes from and the date it was last checked against the law.

The arithmetic is the easy part

The hard part is knowing which deposits count as turnover. OnePercent reads your bank statement, separates client income from transfers between your own accounts, applies the NBG rate for each transaction date, and hands you the figures to type into rs.ge.

Try it with your own statement

Informational only, not tax advice. Figures follow the Tax Code of Georgia as published by the Legislative Herald at matsne.gov.ge.
